After 32 years in state and federal service (retired), he launched this business to help his community manage nuisance wildlife. Keith, along with his wife Michelle and son Kolbe, lives near Athens in rural Menard County, just minutes from Springfield.
A lifelong outdoorsman, Keith enjoys nature and values time spent with family. His love for the outdoors is matched by his commitment to meeting new people daily.
“I’ve always had a knack for helping people,” Keith says. Throughout his career, he has connected with many individuals, from tradesmen to community volunteers.

Raised in Central Illinois, Kolbe is a graduate of Athens High School and holds a degree in Agricultural Business from Illinois College. His lifelong appreciation for wildlife—developed through hunting, trapping, and field observation—provides a practical understanding of animal movement, sheltering, and behavior, enabling precise identification of entry points, travel routes, and effective exclusion strategies.
In addition to his work at 217 Nuisance Wildlife Control, Kolbe serves the community as a Springfield Police Officer, where he contributes to public safety and community outreach. His hobbies include working out, hunting and shooting. He is committed to helping the community through both his public-safety role and his wildlife-control work.

A lifelong resident, Ryan graduated from Riverton High School and has deep roots in the area. He currently balances his time between his role at Martin Engineering and his passion for wildlife management, where he contributes on a part-time plus basis.
In May 2023, Ryan joined 217 Nuisance Wildlife Control during a critical time when the team needed expertise in water trapping. His extensive experience and skills quickly proved invaluable, and his partnership with the team has been a game-changer. Before joining the wildlife control field, Ryan spent 13 years working as a coal miner at the now-closed Viper Mine in Williamsville, Illinois.
Ryan's love for the outdoors was nurtured by his grandfather, who introduced him to hunting, fishing, and trapping at a young age. Today, he enjoys sharing this passion with his soulmate, Carin Rosetti, and their beautiful six-year-old daughter, Elettra. Together, they embark on outdoor adventures, from canoeing and camping along the historic Sangamon River to exploring the wonders of nature. Ryan takes pride in educating Elettra about local wildlife, plants, and the environment.
In addition to his wildlife control work, Ryan is an avid treasure hunter, with a collection that showcases historical artifacts, including Civil War memorabilia and rare coins. His diverse interests and extensive knowledge make him a significant asset to 217 Nuisance.
